I don’t think I can be hypnotised, can you still help me?

Yes. The truth is that everyone can enter a relaxed trance. It is a completely natural state and a state we enter into regularly. When you’re falling to sleep and when you’re drifting into a day dream for example.

Is Hypnotherapy the same as the hypnosis we see on stage or on Tv?

The short answer to that is no. To effect change only a light trance is needed and you are in complete control the whole time.

I’m nervous about starting Hypnotherapy, will I be in control?

Yes. Throughout the sessions you will be in full control. Only a light trance is required to effect change so you will be aware of what is happening and you won’t be asked to do anything that you don’t want.

Are the sessions available online?

Yes. Our online sessions are conducted via Zoom in the comfort of your own home.

Do you do in person, face to face sessions? 

At the moment we only offer online sessions via Zoom.

I’m not great with technology and I’ve never used Zoom before, is it easy to use?

Yes its really easy to use. When you’ve booked your appointment I will send you straight forward instructions via email which will guide you through the process, step by step.

How many sessions will I need?

The sessions are weekly and as everyone is different and people respond at different rates, it is difficult to put a number on it. Generally speaking the average is between 8-12 sessions.

What does the initial consultation involve?

It is an opportunity for us to meet (via Zoom) and chat about your expectations and any goals that you have. I will ask you a few questions and will also talk to you about the brain in a straight forward easy to understand manner, so you can start to understand what is happening and how we can start to change any unwanted behaviours/feelings etc. You will also receive a complementary relaxation audio free of charge.
